This table uses motion, and flexion-distraction, which helps the disc bulge/ herniation to retract, taking pressure off of the surrounding spinal soft tissues/nerves, and reducing the pain level.

Most patients start to feel an improvement (usually a significant improvement) after the first or second week, but sometimes after the first or second session. 

Disc bulge or disc herniation is often called a ruptured disc/disc extrusion or the old term "slipped disc". It is also used for any type of arm/leg, pain, numbness, or tingling.
